After a couple of years of coloring at home and at the salon, I developed a severe allergy to PPD and also react to Toluene. I have fine, very black hair with glow in the dark white roots! After searching everywhere and being surprised and upset that even organic or all-natural-labeled hair color for dark brown or black hair have either PPD or toluene, I found out about Elumen. It is amazing. Gives beautiful shine, great grey coverage if you leave it on long enough. No smell, no irritation. It will stain your scalp and everything it touches. Best advise is to use a mild scrub and leave a few days after coloring your hair before washing. Will likely take a couple more washes. Love this product!
