Diagnosed w/ perioral dermatitis so switched to this. While bare bones, this is very harsh on skin. Took awhile to realize but made my skin tight, red, stingy and worse than before. It’s very stripping and I would not recommend for sensitive skin or really any skin type.

My dermatologist recommended this, I gave her the report from the allergist that showed I was allergic to Acrylates. After using it, my face was on fire, all red. I scanned it and the second ingredient was Acrylate. I wouldn't recommend this if someone is prone to chemical allergies.

This made my face very dry, itchy, irritated, and break out. I suspect it could be the coconut ingredient in it, but i’m not sure. I don’t recommend this face wash though, it’s very irritating.

My dermatologist recommended this and gave me a sample. I used it for several days, I am not liking it. It irritates my eye area - a lot. In comparing this to the Toleriane Extremely Gentle Dermo-Cleanser, I greatly prefer the Toleriane by La-Roche Posay and will stick with that. Vanicream makes a lot of great products which I do use, but I won't be using this one.

Why does an admin say this is not eyelid safe yet it is Top Free and shows the “eyelid safe” badge?

This stuff was bad news for my skin, and also irritating to my eyelids. I’m guessing it’s the mica? (Ps. To the company, I do not need my cleanser to have shimmery glitter in it)

Is this good for my cocamidopropyl betaine allergy? Is it coconut derived?

This is the best safe face soap out there, as far as I am concerned. I went through quite a few that (even if they didn't cause it) irritated my existing rashes and stung when applied. I tried other safe soaps that didn't do their job (ie remove oil and make-up) but this one actually works and is very well tolerated even when I have a rash. I sometimes miss my La Roche Posay and Elta MD washes but I'm happy with this face wash.
Hang tight. We're thinking.
