So I have tried this product. I have almost finished it, but I think I’m going to throw out the rest of it. Of course it tries to be very similar to CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Cream. I would say that that this is Top Care’s own take on the CeraVe concept, as opposed to a copy. It doesn’t feel the same to me and certainly doesn’t feel the same on my skin after using it. It has a different smell. My skin wasn’t as well moisturized as the more expensive product cream. I wound up having to use a lot more, but even then, it wasn’t as good. It honestly just didn’t seem to moisturize as well. I almost wonder if I had a bad batch, but I’m not gonna buy another 16 ounce container. It also lacked viscosity of the CeraVe product after application. I did notice on the review here on SkinSAFE that it’s not exactly the same the product with a 91 score which is respectable, but not the 100 of CeraVe. It is worth noting that some of the other dope products do score 100, and I may try them at some point. I do buy a lot of products from my local supermarket which carries many Top Care products. I was kind of hoping this would be a nice low-cost option towards CeraVe. I use several Top Care products, and am very happy with them. I’m a fan of their skin cleanser and mouthwash. I even have called their customer support when I had trouble with a bottle not working correctly and they sent me a coupon for a replacement. I totally have a favorable view of Too Cate products and I will continue to try more of them. Bottom line, this is not a good replacement in my opinion for CeraVe Cream Moisturizer. Hopefully Top Care will further refine this product and I will try it again in the future. I do like seeing lower cost alternatives to the namebrand products.
Hang tight. We're thinking.
