I used to be able to wear this, but they updated their ingredients and now I get a rash from this. They removed a lot of ingredients, and added: SQUALANE • ZEA MAYS STARCH / CORN STARCH

Hi - the focus of SkinSAFE is the allergenicity of products and not toxicity. Products rated as SkinSAFE100 exclude the top common allergens which produce fewer allergic reactions as determined by over 25 years of research data from patch testing results. If you have any other questions or concerns, we'd be happy to help. Just let us know by emailing us at [email protected].

This is my first 5 minutes on this site and if products containing avobenzone (a "sunscreen") are considered safe, I'm not feeling very good about it's trustworthiness. A very quick Google search explains that "Avobenzone degrades when it is exposed to the sun which results in harmful free radicals being released into the body. These free radicals can accelerate the aging process and increase the risk of illness including cancer." I used this product for a long time until I researched the individual ingredients. An ingredient intended to act as a sunscreen breaks down with exposure to the sun and then becomes a liability? Why would I want that on my face? And what is your criteria for saying that it's safe?

Similar to what another user mentioned: this product was recomended to me by the app as safe. When scanning barcode in store today, it app reports it's not safe for me.
