Anonymous, when ingredients are categorized as ‘multi-source’ ingredients and can be made from various plant sources, including coconut/ palm trees, so as to not limit products and since coconut-derived ingredients are in so many products, we enter ingredients with the source if a manufacturer discloses it; otherwise, it's entered without a source.

How can it be coconut free when the ingredient page says: Laureth-7 is a synthetic compound that functions as an emulsifier and surfactant in a variety of cosmetics and personal care products. It is obtained from palm kernel oil or coconut oil.
