Michael Lehrer, M.D.

Dr. Lehrer completed his residency in Dermatology at Mayo Clinic Arizona where he was privileged to practice with top dermatologists throughout Arizona and throughout the country. After his time at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Lehrer moved to Gilbert/Mesa to join Desert Sky Dermatology.

Dr. Lehrer practices General Medical & Surgical Dermatology with special interest in Skin Cancer prevention and education. Dr. Lehrer led the skin cancer branch of the Mayo Clinic INTERCEPT study to develop genetic testing algorithms for high risk skin cancer patients. He has also developed educational curriculum for skin cancer prevention with Arizona State University and worked with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to develop skin cancer prevention clinics for high risk patients.
