Individuals who have a family history of Atopic Dermatitis are at higher risk of developing symptoms. This type of skin condition typically affects children, but can happen at any age.
The treatment of Atopic Dermatitis depends upon the severity of the case, but mild forms of it can be combated with a quality skin care routine which utilizes sensitive skin lotions. More severe forms of Eczema may require orally taken medication and medicated lotion. Washing with a sensitive skin soap can help decrease symptoms, as can taking shorter, cool temperature showers. Humidifiers can also be an asset in treatment.
