Littlebella1, Polyquaternium is the name of a category of chemicals and there are different chemicals in the category. Not all polyquaterniums are formaldehyde-releasing. If you have a resource that indicates the polyquaternium-46 is formaldehyde-releasing, we'd be happy to review the ingredient.
