James C. Vary, MD, PhD

Jay Vary, M.D., Ph.D. is a board certified physician and medical director at the Dermatology Clinic at UW Medical Center and the Seattle VA. He is also a UW assistant professor of Dermatology and Medicine.

Dr. Vary is interested in general medical dermatology as well as teaching the next generation of dermatologists. He has a specific interest in educating patients about their own skin and skin diseases. Through patient education, he hopes to empower individuals to take command of their own medical care, whenever possible
