Tin
What is it?
Tin is used in primarily electroplating, soldering, and dental amalgams. Eletroplating gives metals or plastic articles a protective surface and/or attractive appearance.
How can I avoid it?
Avoidance requires reading the product labels, package inserts, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and on occasion, direct communication with the manufacturer.
