Prednicarbate
What is it?
Prednicarbate is a corticosteroid used in prescription topical ointments and creams to treat itching and inflammation. This medication is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash). Prednicarbate reduces the swelling, itching and redness that can occur in these types of conditions.
How can I avoid it?
Avoidance requires reading product labels, package inserts, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and, on occasion, direct communication with the manufacturer.

- Topical treatment in cream or ointment form for itching and minor skin conditions such as eczema

Potential cross-reacting/co-reacting substances:
In most patients, cross-reaction is only for cortisones used topically. This test does not predict, nor make any statement about cortisone taken internally (oral or injection).
