Polysilicone-15 is an organic compound used in hair care and sunscreens as an ultraviolet light filter.
How do I avoid it?
Skin contact with polysilicone-15 is required for it to cause a rash. Discontinuation of exposure to products containing polysilicone-15 should result in improvement and/or resolution of your dermatitis. By law, all products made in the U.S. for topical use have the ingredients listed on the product package or box that contains it.
