Ammonium Persulfate
What is it?
Ammonium persulfate is primarily used as an oxidizer and bleacher in hair bleaches, but is also used in a wide range of other industries.
How do I avoid it?
Avoidance requires reading labels, package inserts, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and on occasion, direct communication with the manufacturer that potentially uses this bleaching agent in their products.
