Request for Skin Safe Products Team clarification: This shampoo is identified here as safe for me and my balsam of Peru allergy. However, this website also identifies one of its ingredients -- benzyl alcohol -- as a "constituent of ... balsam Peru” and as a “potential cross-reacting/co-reacting substance” to balsam of Peru. Has an error been made? Is this shampoo safe for me or not?

Hi - because there may be products still on the shelves or in homes, both TEA and SLS are included in the ingredient list.

Apparently a couple of years ago (around 2016), they took out the TEA-Lauryl Sulfate and added Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
There doesn't seem to be a specified way for visitors to this site to alert the site of incorrect label information. I hope they will update this product's listing, because it's one of the main fragrance-free shampoos and it would be good to present an accurate ingredient list for it.
