There are 2 products with identical names. I bought one through the website and one at the store. The foaming version has a different formula. The main ingredient after water is disodium cocoamphodiacetate a coconut oil derivative. I used it thinking it was safe and had a reaction.

user1647200703, can you please send an image of the front of the product you have and an image of the ingredient list to [email protected] ? I double checked the brand's website and it matched the list we have, however, brands sometimes change their formulations so you might have a new formulation in hand.

This ingredient list doesn’t match the one on the bottle I just checked. It lists “disodium cocoamphodiacetate” as the second ingredient. So it wouldn’t be coconut free

Anonymous, unless a company specifically says that they use coconut as a basis for their caprylic triglyceride, the ingredient is entered without the source. The caprylic acid can be found in goat's, cow's, and sheep's milk, as well as in coconut, palm, and other plant oils (e.g. macadamia, peanut, olive, cottonseed, or soy-derived)

I believe this product is not coconut-free - “Caprylic triglyceride is an ingredient used in soaps and cosmetics. It’s usually made from combining coconut oil with glycerin. This ingredient is sometimes called capric triglyceride. It’s also sometimes mistakenly called fractionated coconut oil.”
Hang tight. We're thinking.
