MrsCarlson, This product is NOT gluten free. It contains "avena sativa (oat) kernel oil" & "avena sativa extract".

I am highly atopic and decided to use this because of its coconut-free status. I developed mild itching and a mild rash. I'm not sure what I reacted to, but I thought it was interesting that EWG lists one of the ingredients--benzalkonium chloride-- as "a sensitizer especially dangerous for people with asthma or skin conditions such as eczema". Glad I got the smallest tube..
