Contains no synthetic silicones so it doesn't feel as moisturizing as chemical lotions. It does have a slight odour because the company doesn't add masking fragrance. I don't notice the odour once I apply the lotion to my face. Before applying the lotion, add 2 or 3 drops of an organic, cold-pressed oil to the lotion for extra moisture and scent (for example, coconut oil smells like coconut, so it will add coconut scent to the lotion).
